Linda S. Davis, 64, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, March 25, 2013. She was born August 1, 1948 to Dale and Ruby (Slape) Chandler.

Linda was born and raised in Muskogee, OK where she graduated from Central High School. She met Gary Davis in 1965 and they were married in 1968. Linda went to Beauty College and worked a couple years as a beautician. She later became a teacher's aide specializing in speech and language, was an accomplished seamstress and loved volunteering at Dogwood Creek.

Linda is survived by husband, Gary Davis; son, Paul Davis; sister, Judy Ament; mother and step-father, Ruby and Willie Lambert, Jr., all of Muskogee, OK; niece, Shelly Clay and husband Mike of Porter; nephews, John Jenkins and wife Amanda of Muskogee, OK and Michael Jenkins of Porter; great-nephew, Justin Clay and fiancé Emilee Thorne; great-nieces, Chyanne and Sandra Jenkins, both of Porter, OK; special cousin, Karen Zufelt and husband Don of Boulder, MT; life-long friends, Janice Yount and husband Danny, Janice Peckham and husband Ray, Marla Tindell, Ellen and Teresa. Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Kay and father, Dale Chandler.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Linda Davis will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial Park Mausoleum with Mr. Don Readhimer officiating. Serving as pallbearers are David Chandler, Mike Clay, Michael Jenkins, John Jenkins, Justin Clay and John Conn.
