Molly L. Blakemore, 71, of Hughson died Tuesday at her home.

Mrs. Blakemore was a native of Turlock. She lived in Hughson nearly all her

life. She was a matron for the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department for 20 years. She belonged to the Stanislaus County Peace Officers Association and

Retired Employees of Stanislaus County. She was a member of the Methodist

Church.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Rasmussen of Modesto and Linda Adams

of Hughson; a brother, Charles "Bud" Braden of Hughson; sisters, Dee Lohman of

Ballico, Grace Alexander of Oakdale and Helen Emig of Modesto; and four

grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at McHenry Chapel of Franklin

& Downs. Services will conclude at the chapel.
