GUYMON, Okla. — Margaret F. Alexander, 86, of Guymon died Saturday, March 23, 2013.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Grace Southern Baptist Church, 115 N.W. 10th St. in Guymon, with the Rev. Tom Freeman officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Canute Cemetery in Canute. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
Mrs. Alexander was born Feb. 18, 1927, in Dill City to Archibald Spradlin and Ruth Bradford. She married Jack Perkins Alexander on July 13, 1947.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Diane Livesay and Rebecca Brown both of Guymon; a sister, Jeane McClanahan of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to assist students by initiating a scholarship fund for tutoring services; or Margaret Alexander Scholarship Fund, in care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
