Dorothy Althea (Covert) Good, 89, of Ford City, went to her heavenly home Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 26, 1923, in Maddensville, Fulton County, Pa., a daughter of the late Eldie Covert and Grace (Wagner) Covert. A homemaker, she was of the Protestant faith and, in her later years, volunteered at the Kittanning Care Center and did crafts for the Area Agency on Aging. She enjoyed crafting and sewing. Survivors include her children, Darlene (Good) Raymont, of Ford City, Larry (Melody) Good, of Tupelo, Miss., Gail (David) Cravenor, of Kittanning, and Randy Good, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Doreen (Raymont) Stiffler, of Kittanning, Eric (Trisha) Raymont, of West Lafayette, Ohio, Angela (Good) Acres-Gaito, of Natrona Heights, and David Matthew Cravenor, of Kittanning; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Katherine (James) Dell, of Harrisburg, Madeline Black, of Madison, Ohio, and Patricia (James) Mellott, of Martinsburg, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce L. Good, Nov. 11, 1971, whom she married March 2, 1946; four brothers, Paul, Merle, William and Samuel Covert; and two sisters, Rebecca Edwards and Margaret Shauf. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Kittanning, and from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev.
