CENTRAL CITY -- Michelle Biel-Guy, 46, of Central City died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City, with Sister Mary Arie officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Elkhorn Cemetery, near Omaha.
Mrs. Biel-Guy was born Dec. 20, 1966, in Omaha to Leonard and Linda (Dyer) Biel.
Survivors of the immediate family include her husband, Steve of Central City; her mother, Linda of Central City; one sister and brother-in-law, Terry (Jeff) Rose of Blue Hill; five stepchildren; six stepgrandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are nephews, Dylan and Austin Rose of Blue Hill; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend, Candi Gaffey of Wood River.
She was raised in Merrick County and attended Central City Schools. She graduated from Central City High School in 1985. She then attended the University of Nebraska at Curtis to become a Veterinarian Technician. She was united in marriage to Steven R. Guy on Nov. 20, 2004, at Pierce Chapel near Clarks. The couple made their home on the family farmstead near Central City. Michelle worked for Jim and Ann Kramer as a Vet Tech in Fullerton and then in Columbus. She also worked for many years at the Cabela's customer service until her health required her to stop.
She was a lifetime member of the FFA. She was involved in 4-H Club and the Secretary for the Nebraska Antique Tractor Pullers Association for years. Michelle enjoyed country music, photography, caring for her animals and spending time with her family.
Michelle made the choice to donate her organs because she always saw a need to help others.
