Martha was born Jan. 16, 1930, in New York City, the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Doran) O'Keefe.
She attended school in New York City and worked briefly in the Empire State Building before marrying and having children. Most of her married life was spent in Suffolk County on Long Island, and when her youngest child started school, she started working outside the home. She retired from the Social Security Administration in 1985.
She and her husband, Ken, retired to Port Charlotte, Fla., where she took a part-time job at Buelow Tax Service, to which she returned every winter for many years. Martha made many dear friends during this time and truly looked forward to returning each season. In 1988, she moved to Glens Falls area to be closer to her children and grandchildren who all moved from Long Island.
In addition to her parents, Martha was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth D. Baldwin, in 2009, and her sister, Lillian Carol Klub.
Martha will be laid to rest with her husband, Kenneth, at Arlington National Cemetery.
