SPANISH AMERICAN WAR VETERAN DIES
ANACONDA, Nov. 11.-(Special)-Neville D. Bennett, 53-year-old Spanish-American war veteran died at the state hospital at Warm Springs. The body was brought to Anaconda yesterday and is being prepared for burial at the P.J. Finnegan company's chapel.
Mr. Bennett saw services with Company G. Third United States Volunteer infantry. He was born in Adams county, Mississippi, where he spent the greater portion of his life. After being discharged from the army, he came west and settled in Valley county.
He was committed to the state hospital in July, 1916. He is survived by a brother, S. Bennett of Atlanta, Georgia, who wired that he was unable to come for the funeral.
Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the P.J. Finnegan company's chapel at 2 o'clock. The Rev. A.E. Cash, pastor of St. Mark's church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Spanish-American war veterans' plot in Hill cemetery.
