ALBINA R. WACHTL

Albina R. Wachtl, age 82, of 1235 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, October 7, 1999, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.

Albina was born August 2, 1917, in the town of Gibson, daughter of the late Albin and Emma (née Weber) Pech. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1936 from Lincoln High School.

She married Eugene Wachtl, October 12, 1940, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1987.

Albina worked for many years at Mirro Aluminum Company, retiring in 1979. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John and Debra Wachtl, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Paul Timm, Manitowoc; seven grandchildren, Susan (Peter) Damm, Manitowoc, Cheryl Timm, Manitowoc, Paul (Christal) Timm, Pompano Beach, Florida, Ryan Wachtl, Wausau, Kelly Wachtl, Wausau, Ryan DeWitt, Manitowoc, Sarah DeWitt, Manitowoc; two great-grandchildren, Amanda Dramm, Manitowoc, David Dramm, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Shirley Pech, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends also survive.

Besides her parents and husband, Eugene; she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffery; one twin sister, Evelyn Hacker.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Entombment of her cremated remains will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
