Jill Renee Anderson, age 46 of Manistee passed away unexpectedly.
She was born on May 18, 1966 in Manistee, daughter of Robert "Andy" and Nancy (Boertman) Anderson. She attended Manistee High School and graduated with the class of 1984.
Jill worked as an in-home nurse's aide for Spectrum Health here in the Manistee area. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Jill is survived by her parents, Robert "Andy" and Nancy Anderson of Manistee; two sons, Shane (Allison) Anderson of Holland and Mitchell Anderson of Manistee; two sisters, Julie (Scott) Bauman-Schmeling of Manistee and Kelly McKenna of Wyoming; brother, Rick Anderson of Manistee; uncle, Dave Boertman of Manistee; aunt, Virginia Hummel of Manistee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Lenore Boertman and Floyd and Lucille Anderson; and brother-in-law, Michael Bauman.
Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass from the Order of Christian funerals will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday March 27, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Shrine in Manistee with Father John McCracken celebrant. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of funeral mass at the church. Final interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Manistee.
