Vivian Ellene Daniel, 82, of McNeil, AR died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia.
Vivian was born August 26, 1930 in Waldo to the late Gladney and Grace (Booth) Short. Vivian was an active member and Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist Church in McNeil. She was formerly employed with Cross Egg Farm and was a sales clerk and retired from Kmart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Vivian is survived by her husband Earl Daniel of McNeil; sons David Daniel (Kay) of Magnolia, Larry Daniel (LeAnn) of Nashville, Ronnie Daniel (Gayle) of McNeil; daughter Sherry Warren (John) of The Woodlands; grandsons Chad Daniel (Jamie) of Magnolia, Bryan Daniel (Reagan) of Richardson, TX, Kyle Warren of Dallas, TX, Scotty Daniel (Ashley) of McKinney, TX, Richard Daniel (Crystal) of Nevada, TX, Jeff Daniel of McNeil; granddaughters Shannon Keene (Pat) of Austin, TX, Melissa Matthews (Matt) of Magnolia, AR; stepgrandson Kenneth Petty of Cabot, AR; and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at First Baptist Church in McNeil with Bro. Danny Bullock and Bro. Kyle Calloway officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., of Magnolia. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
