Sergeant Lucinda "Lucy" J. Miller, DSN 5050, was commissioned as a Police Officer on 04/18/1996 and entered the academy. After the academy she was assigned to the 3Rd District and also held assignments at the Academy as an Instructor, and the 5Th District. She was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on 06/16/2010 and was transferred to the 4Th District as a supervisor. During her career she was awarded 1 "Department Award OF Excellence" on 12-25-2011 for outstanding police work. At the time of her passing she had 16 years, 11 months, and 7 days of faithful and dedicated service to the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
