Darlington, MD--Dr. Franklin P. Snodgrass, a retired local
physician, died last Friday, 21 Dec, in the morning at Liberty
Court Hospital, Baltimore, following a lengthy illness.
He was 82.
Husband of the late Mrs. Orvia Tallman Snodgrass, he
practiced medicine in Darlington since 1914. He was a veteran
of World War 1, member of American Legion, member of Stephenson
Lodge 135 AF AAM, Darlington Bowni Shrine Temple, and Susquehanna
Shrine Club, I.O.O.F. of Newton, WV and B.P.O.E. Harve de Grace MD.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Mrs. John W. McLane, Bel Air;
Franklin P. Snodgrass III, Baltimore; two great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
