Charles Edward Franklin, 67 years old, passed away at his home, 1300 South Grand avenue, at 5:45 o'clock Thursday evening. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Franklin, six children, Sgt. Cecil Franklin, South Pacific, Mrs. Cecil Curtis, 2222 South Missouri avenue, Mrs. Charles Cline, Greenwood, Mo., Mrs. Ernest Richardson, Adella Franklin, and Gloria Franklin, all of the home, also by eleven grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Iva Wombler, 408 South Engineer avenue. Two sons preceded him in death several years ago. The body is in the Ewing funeral home. No funeral arrangements have been made.
