Mr. William Glen (Pete) Ratcliff, age 80, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Monday, May 14, 2007, in a Bossier City, Louisiana hospital.

Mr. Ratcliff was born March 24, 1927, at Texarkana, Texas, and had lived all of his life in Texarkana. He was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church, was retired from Union Pacific Railroad, was a member of the United Transportation Union, and had served in the Korean Conflict as a Merchant Marine and in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Ratcliff in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Ratcliff of Texarkana, Arkansas, two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Mark Huff of Glen Allen, Virginia and Tammy and Gregory Cantrell of Plano, Texas, one brother, Charlie Ratcliff of Texarkana, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Allison Huff, Katy Huff, Reagan Cantrell, and Grayson Cantrell, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at East Memorial Gardens with Rev. James Ross and Rev. Terry Barnett officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home/Arkansas. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT THE FUNERAL HOME FROM 6 PM UNTIL 7:30 PM THURSDAY.
