Gate City-- Mrs. Linda Pendleton Christian, 58, died at her home in the Manville Community Sunday at 3:15 p.m.
She was a native of the Manville Community and the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Alley Pendleton. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Her survivors include her husband, Joseph Christian of Gate City; five sons, J.H., J.E., and Harvey Christian, all of Gate City, Carl Christian of Shennandoah and Emmet Christian of Detroit; five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Hammond, Mrs. Robert Davidson, Mrs. Claude Spivey, Miss Ethel May Christian all of Gate City, and Mrs. John Hackson of Dolphin; two brothers, James and Ames Pendleton of Gate City; three sisters, Mrs. Doc Gilliam, Mrs. James Tipton and Mrs. Bryan Williams, all of Gate City.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
