Alberta Aguilar, 56, 1511 35th St., died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday , Aug. 3, 1999, at Burlington Medical Center, Burlington.

She was born April 14, 1943 at Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, the daughter of Joe and Benita Garcia Aguirre. She married Antonio Aguilar.

She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church in Fort Madison.

She is survived by her mother of Chicago, Ill.; three sons, Jose, Reuben and Jaime, all of Chicago, Ill.; her special friend, Ranulfo Rodriquez, Fort Madison; one brother, Jerry Aguirre, Chicago, Ill.; four sisters, Betty Aguirre, Martha Rosales, Anita Duran, and Fidela Aguirre all of Chicago, Ill.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her father and one sister.

Friends may call after 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4, at King-Lynk Funeral Home, Fort Madison, where family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 5, at Sacred Heart Church, Fort Madison, with the Rev. Pat Lumsden officiating. Burial will be on Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fort Madison.

A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at King-Lynk Funeral Home.
