Frankie Mae Wilkes Ritchie, 69, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011.
Born in Rabun County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Roy Ellis Wilkes and Ada Dale Bradshaw Wilkes. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Johnny Wilkes. Frankie loved to read,
loved gospel music and enjoyed talking with her family and friends. She was a member of Mulberry United Methodist
Church.
She is survived by her children, Kathy, Ricky and Jeffrey; lifetime companion, Roger Cunningham and his children,
Marvin, Linda and Trish; three sisters, Nancy Wilkes, Willie Kay Seagle and husband Larry, and Shirley Gragg of
Otto; four grandchildren, Audrea, Brian, Jasper and Tasha and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 19, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Radford
Penland and Rev. Janet Greene will officiate. Burial will be in Newman Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral
home. Pallbearers will be Tim Burch, Larry Seagle, Marvin Cunningham, Marty Cochran, Byron Shields and Caleb Shields. Jack Craig will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
