EDWIN C.EASTON
The death of Edwin C.Easton at the age of 59 years occurred at his home on Trinity avenue, Sunday afternoon after several years of failing health. Mr. Easton was born in Gouverneur, April 18,1868 the son of Edwin C. and Nancy Campbell Easton, and had always resided here, Where he was engaged for years as a wagon maker and in later years as a carpenter.
Mr Easton was married to Miss Julia Wall who survives. He was a member of Gouverneur Lodge, No. 217 F & A. M. Besides his widow, he is survived by one son, Leland G. Easton and one daughter, Althea Easton; also a half brother, Eugene Campbell, all of this village. Funeral services were held from his late home on Trinity avenue, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Maynard P.Beach, pastor of the First Methodist church officiated. The committal services at Riverside cemetery was in charge of Gouverneur Lodge, No.217.
