Ralph J. Magorien, 61, of
418 Niagara St., was pronounced
dead on' arrival at Memorial
Hospital Sunday (Nov.
20, 1960) after being stricken
while at work at the Kimberly-
Clark Corp.
Mr. Magorien was taken to
the hospital by ambulance
after firemen were called to
Kimberly-Clark and administered
oxygen for five minutes.
An autopsy is being performed
today to determine
the cause of death.
A native of Newfane, he had
lived in this city since 1918.
He was employed for 28 years
at Kimberly-Clark and was a
member of the company's
Quarter Century Club, and
District 50, Local 12970, United
Mine Workers. He was a
World War II veteran.
Mr. Magorien was a member
of the Holy Name Society
of St. Mary's Church, which
will recite the rosary at 8:15
p.m. Tuesday at the funeral
home.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Louise M a g o r i e n ; t h r ee
brothers, Leo, Mark and Paul
Magorien', and a sister, Mrs.
Fred Faery, all of this city.
Funeral services will be
held at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday
at the Rhoney Funeral Home
and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's
Church. Burial will be in
Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
