We are sorry to learn of the sad death of Rev. M.P. Allgood, which occurred at his home in Oneonta early Monday morning. The cause of his death was typhoid fever. Mr. Allgood was about 35 years of age and was one of the leading attorneys in Oneonta.

Miles Pennington Allgood was the son of Rev. Stephen C. Allgood and Martha Eldridge "Mattie" Jones Allgood. He married Julia Prudence "Prudy" Ballew. Their four children were: Stephen LeRoy, Lottie Mae, Ruby Magnolia and an infant daughter, Claudie.
