Mr. Thatcher was survived by his wife, Charlotte Fry/Thatcher; three daughters, Patricia, Linda, and Jane, all at home; three sons, Stephen, Robert, and Dean, all at home; three sisters. Mrs. Norman Pauline Ball, Mrs. Loma Anderson and Mrs. James Metz. St. Paris; and six brothers , Harvey, New Mexico, Jay; George; Donald; Frank; and Glenn.
Funeral services were at the Patterson Funeral Home, Leesburg, with Rev. Robert Wallace officiating. Graveside services were at the New Harmony Cemetery in Brown County.
