JACKSON, Shane Clinton of Beavercreek and Centerville, departed this life to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013, the result of a traffic accident. Shane was 42 years old, born January 10, 1971 in Middletown Ohio to Kenneth Jackson and Kathleen Ankney Jackson Thompson. He was a graduate of Waynesville High Class of 1989 and Wright State University Class of 1999 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Education. He was employed with the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center as a teacher since 2003. On August 15, 1999 he married Dorothy L McGrew at the Great Stone Castle in Sidney, Ohio and they would have two daughters Emma Margaret and Sarah Charlotte at home. Shane was preceded in death by his two grandfathers Rev Charles Ankney and Harry Jackson and step father John Thompson. Shane is survived by his wife and two daughters of Beavercreek; his mother Kathleen Thompson of Sidney and father Kenneth Jackson of Eaton; two grandmothers Ruth Ankney of Kettering and Lucille Jackson; his sisters Tryna (Robert) Hattery of Miamisburg and Tiffney Thompson of Sidney; brother Justin Thompson ( Brittany) of Sidney; step brothers Mark (Heather) Thompson and Jonathan Thompson and step sister Roxie Fawcett all of Sidney; his father and mother in law Larry and Marge Mcgrew of Beavercreek and brother in law Alan McGrew (Jackie) of Fairborn; his life long friends Dave and Steve Clark and the Michael Clark family of Centerville and many nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles who loved him deeply. Shane was a wonderful, kind, gentle man who spread joy wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, March23, 2013 at the Waynesville United Methodist Church, 297 North St., Waynesville, Ohio, 45068. Rev. Brian Blankenship officiating. Interment Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio. Friends may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton -Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. from 4-8 PM Friday.
