Obituary:
Jane Marie Metcalf of Austin TX passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. Born Jane Marie Imhoff on February 23, 1920 in Kingsbury, Guadalupe County, Texas where she grew up and graduated from high school. She attended business school and was employed in Seguin by an attorney. In 1941 she moved to Austin to work in the Senate. She met and married C P Metcalf and they had a happy 56 years together. Jane was active in Spade and Trowel Garden Club, Current Book Review Club, Beta Sigma Phi, and First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferd and Marie Imhoff; her husband, C P Metcalf; sister, Grace Imhoff Brannon; and brother, Ferd Jacob Imhoff. She is survived by nieces and nephews who she loved as if they were her children.
Arrangements were with Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association of a charity of choice.
