HELEN RENNIE-FORCE, (Nee KENT) 86 - of Absecon Highlands, died Monday, March 11, 2013 surrounded by her children, who will continue to cherish her memory and embrace the love and devotion she showered on them from the moment they were born until she drew her last breath. Helen died peacefully after a brief illness thanks in great measure to the care she received from the doctors, nurses and staff at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ACRMC), Mainland and City divisions; the Betty Bacharach Rehabilitation Center; and Dr. Alexander Lieberman.

Helen was born and raised in the Inlet section of Atlantic City. One of 15 children born to Irene and William Kent, she was a graduate of Atlantic City High School. Helen earned her A.R.T. Degree in Medical Record Science at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. She was the first Director of Medical Records at the ACRMC-Mainland when it opened in Galloway Township. She was also the former Director of Medical Records for Haverford General Hospital in Havertown, PA.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, James "Pete" Rennie, and husband of 23 years, Henry "Hank" Force. Helen is the beloved mother of three daughters, Louise Houseman; Lorraine Rennie (Scott) von Ravensberg; Dianne Rennie (Ron) Kahn ; two sons, James Rennie (Alfred Mosley); and Raymond (Loretta) Rennie. She is also survived by three stepchildren, Bonnie, Kim and Bill Force; a brother, Reverend Hayden (Donna) Kent; a sister, Elaine (Nelson) Denan; many nieces and nephews; nine very accomplished grandchildren and three extraordinary great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Atlantic County Veteran's Cemetery, Rt. 50, Estell Manor, NJ, which will be officiated by the Rev. Hayden Kent, pastor of Scullville Bible Church. Arrangements are by the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, Linwood and Ventnor, NJ.
