Born and raised in Tacoma, the youngest of 6 and the last survivor.

Married Les Johnson 10 Oct 1940, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2008 after 68 years of marriage.

Snookie was a gracious homemaker and hostess. Their lovely homes were open to parties, holidays, and treasured memories for all. Flowers and gardening were her greatest passion. She also served in her church and community. She was a part of the Great Depression generation that defined her strength and wisdom.

A Proverbs 31 woman, "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also praises her."
