She was born Jan. 26, 1917 at Carthage and was the daughter of the late MacDaniel and Inez (Tharp) Bryant. She was a lifetime resident of the Carthage area and also was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Carthage where she taught Sunday School for many years.
On March 28, 1937, Frances and Sherman "Pat" Robertson were united in marriage at Littleton, Colo. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Smith of Nixa, Mo.; one brother, Virgil Bryant of Republic, Mo.; one sister, Wilma Young of Miami, Okla. and five grandchildren, Pamela Robertson , Steven Robertson , Randy Smith, David Smith and Brent Smith.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Robertson on Dec. 4, 1986; one brother, Leland Bryant and one sister, Dorothy Fuchs.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel, Carthage, with visitation from 12:30-1:30 p.m. just before the funeral service.
