Mrs. Mae McMurray
MARGARETVILLE - Mrs. Mae E. McMurray, 84, of Dunraven, Margaretville, died Tuesday, at Margaretville Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 14,1893 at Dry Brook, a daughter of James and Mary (Alton) Fairbairn. She was married to George McMurray on December 10, 1917 at Margaretville.

Mrs. McMurray had been a lifelong resident of Margaretville; a member of the Margaretville United Presbyterian Church and Belle Ayre Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Margaretville.

Surviving are her husband, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Barbara Moses, Staten Island, and Mrs. Lois Soules Florida.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 16 at the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville with the Rev. William Barter, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in New Kingston Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday when the family will be in attendance.
