Funeral services for Hugh Miller Kinison, 91, of 305 S. Brown St. in Benton, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Poulson Funeral Home in Benton. The Rev. Bill Swyear will officiate. Burial will be in Opdyke Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr Kinison died at 6 a.m. Monday in his home. He was born Jan. 15, 1883, to the Rev. Josiah Cook and Brazilia Elinor Miller Kinison. He was a retired farmer. He had lived in Benton for nine years. Prior to that he had lived in Jefferson County. His wife, the former Leota Mae Veatch, preceded him in death. Survivors are a son, Walter of Benton; two daughters, Helen Vaupel of Carmi and Blanche Wallace of North Bend, Ohio; a brother, Harmon of West Frankfort; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
