Mrs. Nancy Combs Lunsford, age 75, wife of Jack Donald Lunsford, of Union Grove died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Gordon Hospice Home in Statesville
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 3:00 at Lewis Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Rhoades, the Rev. Amos Combs, and the Rev. Allen Lunsford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 Saturday night.
Mrs. Lunsford was born in Wilkes County, on June 15, 1937, to Roy and Alice (Doll) Chambers Combs. She was a member of Lewis Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, Mother, and Grandmother, who put the needs of her family first.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lunsford was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise (Toot) Parker and Dean Pendergrass.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lunsford is survived by a daughter, Sherry Caudill and husband, David of Statesville; a son, Dwayne Lunsford and wife, Donna of Union Grove; four grandchildren, Molly Caudill, Caleb Lunsford, Hannah Lunsford, Joshua Lunsford
