William S. Mack Dies at Age of 82 - Spent Most of Life as Successful Farmer

William Simmons Mack, aged 82, died at 5 p.m. yesterday at the home of Mrs. Senith Vrooman in Oil Creek township, three miles north of Titusville, following an illness dating from August 29. He lived in Steuben township for many years and later at Waterford.

The deceased was a son of William M. and Martha Jane Mack and was born in Indiana county May 10, 1859. He came to Crawford county in his youth and was a successful farmer for many years. His wife, Mrs. Ida Mack, died January 1, 1922, and he leaves the following children: Mrs. Mansfield B. Titcel, Mrs. Hazel Randall and Ernest L. Mack of Erie and Lee E. Mack of Waterford. The following children died several years ago: Winslow P., William S., Earl G., Emel F., and James P. Mack and Mrs. Harry Preston. There are eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: John P., and George G. Mack of Titusville, Mrs. Violet Campbell of Latrobe and Mrs. H.E. St. Clair of Perry Okla.
