Edward King Eaton, age 88 of Lampasas, TX died Monday March 18, 2013 in Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. Ed was born July 11, 1924 in Edwardsville, Illinois the son of Edward F. Eaton and Agnes Genevieve (King) Eaton. His family moved to Oregon when he was 15. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1942. He served in the Pacific Campaign as a navigator in a B-24 bomber. He married Juanita Heald in August of 1945, and they moved to Lampasas in 1958, where Ed owned a cabinet shop for many years. He loved to cook, was an avid gun collector, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Eaton of Round Rock 2 sons; Tommy Eaton and wife Laura of Marble Falls David Eaton of Round Rock 2 grandchildren; Christie and Tonya, and 9 great-grandchildren

Viewing will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Florence Cemetery in Florence, Texas.
