Otis "Sonny Boy" Claude Berry, Sr., 76, of Beaumont died March 7, 2000, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Community Funeral Chapel on Irma Avenue with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was a retired chef for different restaurants.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Berry of Beaumont; sons, Jerry Thomas of Lake Charles and Otis C. Berry, Jr. of Beaumont and Christopher Ray Berry of Houston; daughters, Alicia F. Berry Brooks of Lake Jackson, Sheila Berry Sorrell of Houston and Andrea Berry Allen of Beaumont; sister, Mildred Goodman, Ruby Bassett, Anna Francis and Marva Eaglin, all of Beaumont and Patrica Jolivett of Houston, and 35 grandchildren.
