Rita Kay Ferguson of Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at 1:50 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the age of 63 at Grace Village Healthcare.

She was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 24 years where she attended church at the Salvation Army of Warsaw, and was a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Rita was a homemaker, and involved in the Senior Center.

She was born on August 14, 1949 in Davenport, Iowa to the late Kathryn (Davidson) Behrens and Wendlyn Otto Behrens, who survives in Milan, Illinois.

She also leaves behind three brothers: Junior (wife Betty) Behrens (Brookings, South Dakota); Clark (wife Ruth) Behrens (Milan, Illinois); and Douglas Behrens (Milan, Illinois). She was preceded in death by her mother, one son, one brother and one sister.

Her funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Jody Dalberg. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery, Silver Lake, Indiana.

There will be visitation one hour prior to her funeral service on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home.
