Winchendon. -- Roland M. Abare, 88, died Thursday at the Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
His wife, Julietta S.(Butler)Abare died in 1992.
He leaves three daughters: Norma J. Bailey of Billerica; Priscilla A. Harris of Baldwinville and Doris A. Carpenter of Fort Lauderdale,Fla.; a brother, , Clarence Abare of Norwell; two sisters, Norma Bardzskowski of Gardner and Priscilla Pray of Riverside, R.I.; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
A son, James R. Abare, died in 1990, and a daughter, Alberta I. Ashe, died in 1973.
He was born in Winchendon, son of Moses and Irene E.(Putney) Abare and lived here all his life.
