Frankie Lee Marlow, 78, of Silva, MO, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born December 7, 1934, in Corning, Arkansas, to Frank and Rebecca (Hyde) Cupp.

Frankie attended various schools in rural Rector, Arkansas. She would talk of her childhood often and tell her children that her family was very poor, but rich with love. When she was eighteen, she moved to St. Louis and worked at Drug Package for several years. She was responsible for hand writing the labels on the medications.

On April 11, 1953, she married Bernard O. Marlow and to this union two children were born.

Frankie was a strong Christian woman and faithful member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed her role as homemaker to her husband and children. She enjoyed listening to country music and Elvis Presley, working in her yard, talking about flowers, cooking for her family, listening to Cardinal baseball games on the radio, and playing dominoes with her grandchildren. Her daughter remembers how she loved to laugh. She always wanted to hear all the new jokes and reminisce about funny family happenings.

Frankie is survived by her husband; one son, Keith Marlow and his wife, Debra, of Silva, MO; one daughter, Cathy Leigh Cooper of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Frances (Elsie) Butler of Warrenton, MO; six grandchildren, Tanya (Eric) Hillis, Kelly Willard, Terry Marlow, Leigh (Christopher) Fall, Lauren (Jeffrey) Maschek, Hunter Row; six great grandchildren, Bryan and Cody Crutchfield, Warren Willard, Camden Wheeler, Riley Maschek, and Rowen Fall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Darrell Cupp; four sisters, Elizabeth Bratcher, Lois Dillion, Virgeline Potter, and Ruby Robinson.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville, MO, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home chapel.
