Apex - Earl Wayne Young, 66, of Apex, passed away Sunday morning, March 17, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home.
Born May 14, 1946 in Harnett County, NC, Earl was the son of the late Lundy Young and Frankie Price Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bazil Young.
Earl is survived by his beloved wife of 38 wonderful years, Betty Jo Young; daughter, Abby Fairbank and husband Troy of Raleigh; brother, Bernard Young and wife Joyce Kaye of Angier; sisters, Wilda Prince and husband Frank of Apex, Frances Reese of Angier; sister-in-law, Joyce Young; and many loving nieces and nephews.
