Mrs. Edith P. (Sue) Etter, 80 year old resident of this city, died Monday morning, January 11 at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville where she had been a patient since Christmas Day.
She was born in Denver, Sept. 24, 1884; the daughter of Joseph and Mary Hamilton Lombard. The family moved to Waverly when Mrs. Etter was one year old. She was married Nov. 29, 1909 to Robert Etter, who survives.
Mrs. Etter is also survived by two cousins, William Jones and Holland Burnett, both of Waverly.
She was a member of the Waverly Methodist Church, a 50 year member of the Order of Easter Star and was a charter member of the Waverly Woman's club and the Pythian Sisters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Neece Funeral Home with Rev. John Muir officiating.
Burial was in Waverly East Cemetery.
