According to family, David was a little peculiar and crabby. At Halloween time he was known to climb the pine tree in his yard and perch himself in it with his lantern and shot gun and watch for pranksters.
The farm they lived on which was around 57 acres was dotted with oil wells. David sold the farm to Andrew Wise whose farm adjoined his. They had two children.
David died sometime in the 1930's.
Emma married (2nd) Howard Ketner and she may have been married a 3rd time to [?] Walker. Emma and Howard had one child. Emma is buried in Cherrytree, Venango Co., Pa.
