Kimberly R. Carpenter, 53, of Dresden, Ohio died Wednesday morning, March 20, 2013 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville, Ohio. Born December 9, 1959 in Zanesville, Ohio she is a daughter of Weldon and Peggy (King) Adams of Dresden and was a 1978 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Kimberly was a former Logistics Broker for Ryder Trucking of Newark, Ohio and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Dresden. She was a very avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and she enjoyed gardening and being with her dog, Sami. Surviving in addition to her parents is her sister, Terri (David) DeVault of Dresden; her brother, Warren (Sharon) Adams of Heath, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Ashley and Jamie DeVault, Austin, Aric and Amanda Adams; her mother in-law and father in-law, Helen and Robert Carpenter of Holloway, Ohio; four sisters in-law, Rachel (Bob) Singell of Columbus, Ohio, Cindy (Gerry) Griffith of Washington, PA, Joyce (Shad) Fromhart of Moundsville, WV and Mary Kay (Kevin) Roseberry of Shadyside, Ohio; two step daughters and many other loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Carpenter whom she married August 18, 1989 and who died September 9, 2008. Calling hours will be 5 to 8pm Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. Greg Inboden officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Valley Cemetery near Wakatomika, Ohio.
