BERNICE LESTER ADA-Services for Bernice Mae Lester, 82, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at the Holdenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home. Mrs. Lester died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born November 21, 1930 at Holdenville, Oklahoma to John and Rosena Paters Earley. She attended Holdenville schools. She married Troy Lester on October 17, 1947 at Wichita, Kansas. Mrs. Lester was a homemaker and an avid bowler. She attended many national tournaments around the country. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Ada for over 50 years and an active member of the Healthy Heart Club. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Troy Lester, of the home; her daughters, Sharon Maguire and her husband Roger of Fairfield, Illinois and Janet Barrick and her husband Ben of Ada; one son, David Lester and partner Terry of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren, Brent Maguire, Michelle Ziegler, Jennifer Hawkins, Brad Barrick, Joy Moon, Joel Barrick, Michael Lester and Elizabeth Lester; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Jim, and France; and sisters, Sylvia, Betty, Mary and Goldie. Bearers will be Brent Maguire, Brad Barrick, Joel Barrick, Geoff Moon, Zac Hawkins, and Alex Ziegler.
