BERNARD J. KIRSCH
Bernard J. Kirsch, 60, of Nicktown, died Monday, Nov. 4, in Miners Hospital, Spangler. Born in Barr Twp., June 12, 1908, he was a son of Alex and Emma (Dumm) Kirsch.
Surviving are his widow, the former Rose Byrne, and these children: Robert, Barnsboro; Edward, of Portage; T/Sgt. Leroy, with the U.S. Air Force at Randolph Field, Tex.; Allen, Dixonville; Joel, Alverda, and Gary, Nicktown.
He was a brother of Carl, Nicktown; Leo, Spangler; Mrs. Veronica Hayes, Carrolltown; Mrs. Virginia Bartock, Barnesboro, and Miss Gertrude Kirsch, Ebensburg.
Friends were received at the John Easly Funeral Home, Spangler. Funeral Mass was offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, by Rev. Fr. Richard Gick. Burial was in the church cemetery.
