The funeral for Charlotte A. Greer, 67, of Bassett, who died Oct. 18, 2009, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Bassett Chapel, with the Revs. Carson Williams and Tony Beach officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1941, in Galax to Frank Alley and Eunice Houston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Houston.
She retired from Tultex with more than 30 years of service, and she attended Community Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jesse E. Greer of Bassett; a daughter, Cynthia G. Cunningham of Martinsville; a son, Jeffrey L. Greer of Collinsville; a sister, Arletta Buchanan of Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren; and one niece.
