Louis Pleas Gober was the son of Lewis C. Gober and Kissiah America Brown Gober. He was the husband of Annie Marie Taylor Gober.
Louis Pleas Gober was a prominent Farmer of Vanduser and was a former Sheriff of Scott County, MO. He had resided in the Vanduser Community for many years prior to his passing. He was a member of the Morley A.F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge.
Interment was held at the old Morley Cemetery with Welsh service. Masonic Rites were performed at the graveside.
He was survived by two sons, Robert Lee Gober of Morley and Albert Andrew Gober of St. Louis. His wife had passed away a year or so before his passing.
