Ray C. Brail, 93, of Pulaski, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at home under the loving care of his family.
Mr. Brail was a graduate of Concord High School and University of California-Davis where he also served as instructor-foreman of the Orchards.
He was a lifelong farmer in Pulaski and the first in the county to use contour farming. He was formerly the Pulaski Township Treasurer and on the Township Board of Review.
Mr. Brail served in the National Guard from 1935-1937.
He is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Hepler of Hanover and Linda Brail of Pulaski; a son, Glenn (Shirley) Brail of Marshall; grandchildren, Robert (Beth Flower) Brail and Donald (Cheryl Dogan) Hartung; great-grandchildren, Timothy (Jenny Vest) Brail and Quinton Brail.
Mr. Brail was preceded in death by his wife Agnes L. Brail and daughter Marilyn V. Hartung.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at S. D. Lauer Funeral Home in Concord, with the Rev. Scott Scheel officiating. Interment will follow at Pulaski Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
