He was a member of American Legion and Bahia Shrine Temple, Orlando. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Harlan, Ky. Survivors: sons, Billy, Gary, both of Harlan, Ronnie, Bledsoe, Ky., Bobby, Danny, Tommy, David, all of Orlando; daughters, Freda Potts, Springfield, Ohio, Georgia Coots, Cumberland, Ky., Louanna Hermann, Reno, Nev., Jawana Green, Rosalind Cornish, Mary Estep, Mildred Griffin, all of Orlando; 32 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
