Messenger," Union City TN, Feb 1998, Jim Bob Robertson, 102, of 128 S. Main St. in Troy d. at 9:30 am Feb 22, 1998 (Sunday) at Baptist Mem Hospital-Union City. She had been a patient for six days. Services 2 pm Wed at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Jack Phillips and Dr. Chris Gooch officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Ararat Cem near Troy. Friends my call at the chapel 5-8 pm Tuesday. Pallbearers: Gene Clark, Johnny Dobbins, Mike McCage, Buddy Griffin, Bill Smith, Ricky Burse, Gene Faust and Joel Shore. Mrs. Robertson was born Nov. 28, 1895 in Polk Station community, d/o the late Benjamine McDonald and Laura Young Wagster Everett. She m. William Burhl Robertson Oct 1, 1913. He died Sept 20, 1972. She was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co in Waterford MI and when she returned to the Troy area following her retirement, she began a home based business providing cakes and confections. She was a member of Troy Church of Christ and the Wolverine Family and Community Education Club. Survivors include a daughter Beulah Beatrice Baxter of Astoria Ore, a son John McDonald Robertson of Lascassas (TN); 24 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 76 gr-gr-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Thelma Kersey; two sons, James Dudley Robertson and Havner Hoper Robertson; four sisters and two brothers. 4 July 1993, 1995, Frieda Kersey: Jim Bob was named for her two grandfathers: James Everett and Robert Wagster.
