Obituary.
John B. Jalet died yesterday at his home, 419 10th Street, following a protracted illness. Mr. Jalet was born at Whitehall and had been a resident of Troy for many years. He was a carpenter by occupation and he was a member of the local Carpenters' Union. Mr. Jalet was a member of St. Jean Baptiste Church. The survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Bernard Cooney. Mrs. Edward J. McCoy and Mrs. Howard Thomas; three sons, John, Robert and George Jalet; two brothers, Fred and Thomas Jalet and a sister, Mrs. David Asher of Glens Falls. The funeral will be Thursday morning from the Church of St. Paul the Apostle.
