She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Boyd and Martha Esipy Parks; brother, Sammy Boyd; stepfather, Bryant Parks; father-in-law, Bert S. Lawrence. Survivors include her husband, Bert Kitchen Lawrence; two daughters, Chantell Lawrence, Kaeli Lawrence, both of LaFayette; stepmother, Naomi (Junior) Broyles of Menlo; brothers, Phil (Glenda) Lutreal, Brian (Jessica) Parks, Josh (Amanda) Parks, of Summerville; mother-in-law, Sally Lawrence of Kensington; special aunt, Ann (Bill) Broyles of Menlo; grandmothers, Mildred Mitchell of Lyerly, Dorothy Marsh of Kensington; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Demetrius) Mosley of LaFayette, Darlene (Maurice) Strickland, Sue (Joel) Epperson of Kensington; a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, special friends, Homer (Martha) Stamper of Summerville, other relatives and many friends. Services: Saturday, July 14, at noon at First Baptist Church in LaFayette with pastor Jonathan Thomas Jr. and other ministers officiating. Burial: Garmany Cemetery.
