SELLERS, Donald Raymond "Don" (Age 88)
Beloved father, grandfather and brother,

Donald "Don" Raymond Sellers, 88, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away March 18, 2013 at the Kootenai Medical Center of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. He was born April 1, 1924, at Rose Lake, Idaho. Don was the son of Berkley Raymond and Sylvia (Latimer) Sellers. Don attended and graduated from the Rose Lake High School of Rose Lake in 1942. He then attended the University of Idaho.

Don was called to serve our country in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Don married Virginia "Nan" Calvert on November 8, 1942 at Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Nan passed away on December 30, 1995.

Don had served as a maintenance mechanic for the mill at the Bunker Hill Mining Company for many years, until its closure in 1982. Don was a member of the Kellogg Elks Lodge #1841; he managed the Kellogg Elks bingo program and had served on the Elks dart league. Don so loved and enjoyed the Elks and was a tremendous member; he had been honored as "Elk Of The Year". Don had also served membership in the American Legion Post #36 and the Bunker Hill Twenty Year Club.

Don loved and adored his family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time at the family float house on Lake Coeur d' Alene. In his later years, he enjoyed golfing, gardening and canning.

Don is survived by three daughters Terry and husband Jamie Sharp of Kellogg, Idaho, Sue Sellers and husband Jack Gilmore of Campbell, California and Julie Bronson of Spokane, Washington; three grandchildren Duncan Sellers Gilmore, Brittney Bronson and Kolby Bronson; one sister Marjorie Olin of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nan Sellers and one granddaughter Shannon Sharp.

Cremation was held and Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg, Idaho with Pastor Carrie Schram officiating. A reception/luncheon will be held at the Kellogg Elks following services. Inurnment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Kellogg Elks Lodge #1841, 202 ÂË? McKinley Ave., Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
