LAWRENCE REVOR DIES AFTER FALL

CHIPPEWA FALLS –Lawrence Leo Revor, of the town of Hallie, on the shore of Lake Hallie, died Wednesday morning at 1:30 from injuries received in a fall down an embankment in front of his home, according to a report by Dr. J. A. Kelly, coroner.

Late Tuesday, Revor suffered injuries when he fell into the street from the sidewalk before the Rutledge building here. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where he his injuries were treated and he was released.

He fell in front of Judge Dayton R Cook's car which was waiting at the intersection for the traffic light to change. Judge Cook got out of his car, called the police and arrangements were made to take Revor to the hospital.

Revor was treated for cuts and bruises at the hospital. He was later discharged and taken to his home by his wife. About 1:30 Wednesday morning he arose to go outside. Dr. Kelly said that he rolled down the embankment near the lake and hit against a tree, dying a short time afterward.

Revor was born July 4, 1910, in Chippewa Falls where he has always resided with the exception of about nine months last year when he worked on the Alcan Highway in Alaska. He was married July 9, 1931 at St. John's Church in Cooks Valley to Miss Theresa Zwiefelhofer who survives with five children, Beverly Marie, Dorothy Ann, Elizabeth Lou, Jo Ann, and Darlene Theresa. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. George Revor, of Hallie; one brother, Harvey of Minneapolis, and two sisters, Sister Mary Remy, Chicago, and Mrs. Charles L. Hedrington of Chippewa Falls.
